Do you have to organize a birthday party, book club party, bridal shower, bachelorette party, or a work or specialty party, and you’re looking for a unique idea on how to celebrate the occasion? Consider having an “art party,” where you have a good time making art while celebrating.
Shaqe takes the group through a step-by-step process of painting, focusing on and replicating a famous painting (or perhaps one that you suggest). This method is based on Betty Edward’s theory that anyone can draw or paint if you follow a step-by-step method. Everyone comes out with a similar painting and a similar experience, with a finished painting to hang on the wall. This is mainly for participants without art-making experience, but more difficult paintings can be made for more experienced artists.
Shaqe presents the Art Party in a fun, relaxing, and welcoming presentation that creates desire for the creative process. These parties can be hosted at Art & Ideas in maximum groups of 10, with a minimum of three people per party.
